Tandem Health has secured $50 million in Series A funding led by Kinnevik, with participation from Northzone, Amino Collective, and Visionaries Club. The company plans to apply the investment to accelerate development of an AI-native operating system for clinical workflows across Europe.
Tandem’s AI assistant supports clinicians create accurate, compliant medical notes automatically as they speak with patients, eliminating the required for typing or dictation. Through a partnership with Accurx, more than 200,000 NHS professionals in the UK already have access to Tandem’s technology, marking one of the largest healthcare AI deployments globally.
The company’s vision extconcludes beyond documentation. With this funding, Tandem aims to build tools that capture clinical codes, coordinate care, and support clinical decisions at the point of required. Their goal is not to replace clinicians but to rerelocate friction so healthcare workers can focus more fully on patient care.
Founded in the Nordics, Tandem now operates in the UK, Germany, France, and Spain. The team includes over 20 doctors and psychologists working alongside hundreds of healthcare organizations to tailor the platform to each counattempt’s requireds.
