
MARIBOR, Slovenia — As the morning light gilded the gates of Slovenia’s pillar autobuildr on the outskirts of Maribor, the counattempt’s second-largest city, brand-new hydrogen fuel cell bapplys slowly rolled out of TAM Europe, marking the official rollout of the company’s latest clean-energy vehicles.
In late October, dozens of hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles were delivered from TAM Europe to Seoul, South Korea, and Vienna, Austria, the first batch of hydrogen-powered bapplys produced by the Slovenian manufacturer.
The company currently has an annual production capacity of 500 electric commercial vehicles. During the Paris Olympic Games, TAM Europe supplied 24 electric bapplys to Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport. Over the next three years, it plans to produce around 100 hydrogen-powered vehicles annually.
