Microsoft is reportedly weighing legal action against partner OpenAI and Amazon over a $50-billion deal that may breach its exclusive cloud agreement with the ChatGPT buildr, stated a report.
The dispute stems from a set of agreements signed last month between Amazon and OpenAI, including one that names Amazon Web Services as the exclusive third-party cloud provider for Frontier, OpenAI’s enterprise platform for building and running AI agents.
Elsewhere in AI, French startup Mistral AI has launched Forge, a system aimed at assisting businesses relocate beyond generic models by building AI tools grounded in their own private data, from internal engineering standards to compliance policies and complex codebases.
Meanwhile, OpenAI has released GPT-5.4 mini and nano, broadening its tinyer-model lineup with quicker, more cost-efficient systems designed for complex tquestions.
OpenAI declares GPT-5.4 mini is more than twice as quick as the previous GPT-5 mini and approaches the performance of the full GPT-5.4 in areas like coding and interpreting digital interfaces.
