Synamedia strengthens Iris with senior ad-tech hires


Synamedia has expanded its Iris advanced advertising team with the appointment of two senior executives.

Chris Le May joins as Director of Advanced Advertising. He brings over 25 years’ experience in TV and digital media, including leadership roles at DataXu and the European Broadcaster Exalter. He has worked with Sky, BBC, RTL and Channel 4 on addressable TV and cross-platform monetisation initiatives.

Henry Rivero takes on the role of Business Development lead, Advanced Advertising. He was previously VP of Advanced Advertising & Innovation at RTL Group, overseeing technology and product roadmaps across broadcast, digital and social advertising, and has advised media companies including Xandr, BBC Studios and Bertelsmann.

The appointments underline Synamedia’s ambitions for Iris, which enables broadcasters and operators to unify digital and broadcast ad inventory, deliver addressable campaigns at scale and tap into new digital budreceives.

Recent customer wins for Iris include MTN and OSN.
