A Sydney-based start-up that has developed software and robotic technology utilized by NASA, Boeing, Tesla and major mining firms is Australia’s next billion-dollar unicorn after raising more than $150 million.
The latest equity injection of $158 million into Advanced Navigation was led by Airtree Ventures and also included money from Quadrant Private Equity and the federal government’s National Reconstruction Fund Corporation, which valued the company at more than $1 billion.
