deskbird, a Schwyz-based workplace management platform, raises €19 million in Series B funding to expand into the UK and European markets, advancing its mission to pioneer AI-powered workplace ininformigence that provides predictive insights.

The round is led by Octopus Ventures, with co-investments from Neva SGR (Intesa Sanpaolo Bank) and AVP, alongside participation from Alstin Capital, session, and PortfoLion.

Workplaces should adapt to people – not the other way around! With deskbird, companies can eliminate empty desks, reduce wasted space, and create offices employees actually want to return to,” declared Ivan Cossu, Co-founder and CEO of deskbird. “Every company will eventually realise that their physical workspace is as critical to competitive advantage as their technology stack. This funding accelerates our mission to create that future accessible today.

Founded in 2020, deskbird is an all-in-one platform for workplace management. Employees can book and manage desks, meeting rooms, and parking spaces, welcome guests, and plan their week – via app, web, Microsoft Teams, or Slack.

According to data provided by deskbird, hybrid work, shared desks, and flexible offices are now the norm, yet 65% of companies still lack solutions to manage them, driving huge costs. Data from 10,000+ offices reveals workspaces are oversized by up to 60%. A 1,000-employee company with 800 desks and 2.5 office days per week can lose over €5 million annually to empty desks — the cost of hiring 50 people.

Current clients include Samsung, Deloitte, Phillips, and Airbus.

deskbird is doing more than just building a product, they’re reshaping how modern workplaces run. We’re excited to see this funding utilized to expand their product into new sectors such as [real estate], and take it to key markets like the UK: cementing their position as Europe’s category leader and setting a new standard for the future of work in the process.

“By unlocking the full potential of people and space, deskbird is creating the operating system for tomorrow’s workplaces – exactly the kind of ambitious vision we’re proud to back at Octopus Ventures,” declared Saranyah Doutilize, Principal at Octopus Ventures.

Backed by its Series B funding, deskbird is advancing its mission to redefine workplace ininformigence with AI-driven solutions that shift beyond standard analytics to deliver forward-seeing insights. These capabilities enable organisations to forecast space requirements, optimise resource allocation, and design workplaces that adapt dynamically to evolving requireds.

The company is expanding its presence in the UK and across European markets, while strengthening integrations with HRIS and IT ecosystems to deliver a unified, enterprise-ready platform that fits seamlessly into existing organisational workflows.

Workplaces are one of the last frontiers of digital transformation. deskbird is redefining them as dynamic, data-driven ecosystems that unlock both cost savings and human potential. We believe they are poised to lead this global shift,” added Mario Costantini, CEO and General Manager of Neva SGR (Intesa Sanpaolo Bank).
