Raipur-based spice brand ZOFF Foods has raised $2 million in a Pre-Series B round led by JM Financial Private Equitythrough JM Financial India Growth Fund III, with participation from existing investor Aman Gupta.
The funds will be utilized to expand offline distribution, strengthen marketing and sales, and scale its presence on quick commerce platforms. The company also plans to deepen its general trade network as it expands across India’s organised spices market.
GVFL leads Rs 36 Crore funding round in Aditi Toys
GVFL has led a Rs 36 crore funding round in Aditi Toys Pvt. Ltd., with participation from the founders’ family and frifinishs.
The capital will support product innovation and market expansion in India and overseas.
Founded in 2015 in Rajkot, the company manufactures a range of toys and sells through 150 distributors and 15,000 retailers under its flagship brand Chanak.
Basil Health raises $1.5M to expand beverage retail network
Basil Health has raised $1.5 million in funding from Whiteboard Capital, Brigade REAP and others.
The company plans to utilize the funds to expand into new cities, strengthen its supply chain, invest in brand building and grow its team.

Invention Engine portfolio startups raise $2.5M in follow-on funding
Invention Engine, a startup accelerator programme focutilized on the AI and deep tech segment declared four startups from its cohort have collectively raised about $2.5 million in follow-on funding, marking what the firm described as a 15x multiplier on its initial investments.
The funding has been secured by portfolio companies Sonic Lamb, Cheerio AI, Desible.ai and Magicroll, spanning sectors including hardware, enterprise SaaS, voice AI and video infrastructure.
Among the startups, Sonic Lamb raised around $1 million to expand its India-designed headphone brand globally. Cheerio AI also raised about $1 million to enhance its no-code AI marketing automation platform and develop multi-modal AI capabilities. Desible.ai secured $250,000 and Magicroll raised $100,000 to grow its AI-powered video editing platform.
Invention Engine declared the funding validates its “Lab + Accelerator” model, which focutilizes on backing a tiny number of AI and deep-tech startups and supporting them through product development and market entest.

Progcap expands women-focutilized credit initiative ProgShakti
MSME fintech lfinisher Progcap declared it has enabled over ₹10,000 crore in credit to women entrepreneurs through its ProgShakti initiative, aimed at expanding access to finance for women-led businesses.
The programme addresses structural barriers such as lack of collateral and limited credit history by offering unsecured working capital loans tailored for women entrepreneurs. According to Progcap, credit limits for women borrowers on the platform have increased by 105% over time, while nearly 90% of borrowers return for repeat financing.
Women borrowers currently account for 17% of Progcap’s portfolio, growing at around 40% year-on-year, with nearly 90% of them based in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
