Lucknow: The startup, ‘Edubook’, incubated at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has secured a funding of US$50 million (approximately Rs 400 crore) in the field of digital credential verification by Nimbus Capital, a global investment firm, based in Panama.According to experts, this investment will enable the company to strengthen its technological infrastructure, accelerate product development, and expand into international markets.“‘Edubook’ provides blockchain-based, secure digital verification solutions. To date, the company has successfully completed over 100,000 on-chain verifications and is establishing its presence not only in India but also across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa,” declared Kalam Centre director Anuj Kumar Sharma and Rajeev Kumar.AKTU vice-chancellor Prof JP Pandey declared, “The university is continuously undertaking initiatives to foster innovation and entrepreneurship within the state.”
