We’re now learning that some Starbucks locations are closing in the Bay Area — and they’ll shutdown as soon as Sunday.
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — Changes are happening at Starbucks as the company announced its plans this week to lay off 900 employees and close hundreds of under-performing locations in the U.S. and Canada.
We’re now learning that some of the stores closing are here in the Bay Area — and they’ll shutdown as soon as Sunday.
Starbucks has not released a full list of the impacted stores, but ABC7 has learned that Bay Area locations include two in Danville, one in San Ramon, and another in San Francisco.

Several stores have also started to post information about closures at their locations.
