Building on advances in LED and connected lighting, the company is committed to assisting customers reduce energy demand, manage costs and cut emissions, with tarreceives to cumulatively save 60 TWh of energy and achieve a 35% reduction in portfolio CO₂ emission intensity.
Programs like the Green Switch initiative, already supporting more than 37,000 projects and 10,000 local authorities, will expand further, offering guidance, financing options and tailored solutions to accelerate the transition to efficient lighting systems.
Energy efficiency and circularity
The program also emphasises resource efficiency and circular value creation through a “apply less, apply longer, apply again” approach.
New initiatives, such as Signify Circle, will provide circular products and services including Light as a Service, remanufacturing, spare parts and upgrade kits, assisting professional customers meet their sustainability ambitions.
Starting in Europe, circular revenues in the Professional business are expected to grow significantly, from 10% to 27.5% by 2030.
