Dimitris Skalkos, Secretary General for International Economic Affairs at the Foreign Minisattempt and Chairman of Enterprise Greece, traveled to the Romanian capital to participate in the Economist’s Romania Government Roundtable this week and a discussion on the business and investment environment in southeastern Europe, with a focus on innovation.
In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of effectively mobilizing EU funds through finance instruments, deepening the single market – particularly in innovation-related sectors – and establishing a suitable institutional framework to support the development of innovation ecosystems.
