Two former finance managers who gave up corporate life to build robot-run warehoutilizes for online retailers have secured a $100 million valuation for their seven-year-old start-up.

Skutopia is run by former News Corp managers Talea Bader and Emily Townsconclude and raised $38 million in a round led by Pemba Capital despite having their idea previously dismissed by major venture capital funds as too complex and expensive.
