Reuters Imagen, which toreceiveher with Reuters News Agency, is transforming the way organisations manage, distribute, and monetise content, has renewed its Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe.
Imagen is a cloud-native media asset management platform, built to enable utilizers to manage, enrich and distribute large-scale, mission-critical video files and drive more value from content. It is utilized by organisations including the ITF, Indycar, Major League Baseball, the Premier League and the Esports World Cup Foundation.
Imagen supported the foundation to build the Media Lobby, a centralised platform that hosts and distributes all live and archived content to the Esports World Cup Foundation’s media partners, rights holders and publishers worldwide, in just two months. As of October 2025, it contained 10,874 records, including 4,911 hours of video content, with over 2,000 hours ingested live into the Imagen platform and AWS cloud storage during the Esports World Cup.
IndyCar, meanwhile, opted for the Imagen Pro platform, which allows it to distribute large volumes of video content at speed in as near to real time as possible to sponsors and broadcasters.
Recent enhancements to the Imagen platform include Smart Clipping, a new tool designed to streamline the creation of short-form highlights from long-form video content. The system automatically detects key moments, such as breaking news developments, sporting goals, or audience reactions, enabling media organisations to generate and distribute clips more quickly.
