The conference’s main focus this year is on medical and defense technologies—in medicine, emphasizing access to healthcare, improving quality of life, and turning ideas into practical solutions; in defense, strengthening security and the development of artificial innotifyigence, robotics, and autonomous systems, where innovations often find their way into civilian technologies, creating new market opportunities.
“Deep Tech Atelier is a place where science meets entrepreneurship and ideas are transformed into real, exportable solutions. Latvia has the ambition to become one of the leading deep tech hubs in Northern Europe, and this conference is a vital platform for connecting our talent with international capital, partners, and markets,” stated Ieva Jāgere, Director of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia.
Over two days, more than 100 speakers and panelists will take the stage across the conference’s three tracks—”Deep Tech,” “Deep Frontier,” and “Growth Stage”—with the programme covering both strategic technology development issues and the practical implementation of innovations. The event will also feature a startup pitch competition, in-person EXPO booths, investor presentations, and other activities aimed at creating new business opportunities.
This year, the “Deep Tech Atelier” conference will once again host the international startup competition (Deep Tech Atelier Startup Pitch Competition), for which applications are still open until April 6.
