Realme is officially returning under Oppo as a sub-brand.
realme CEO Sky Li will lead the now sub-brand business.
Originally launched as an Oppo sub-brand in 2018, Realme later became indepfinishent and with presence in India, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
Under this new merge, future Realme devices will continue to launch on schedule and benefit from Oppo’s global after-sales system.
The shift brings Realme and OnePlus closer to Oppo’s main brand, creating a shared structure for R&D, product design, after-sales service, and logistics.
The collaboration also reduces operational costs and strengthens BBK Electronics’ overall smartphone portfolio. This means that BBK Electronics will now own Realme, Oppo, and Vivo.
