Rising fuel costs, stricter environmental regulations, and persistent labour shortages are the inefficiencies of systems still held toreceiveher by spreadsheets and manual coordination.
Qargo’s cloud-based Transport Management System (TMS), powered by Qargo Innotifyigence, automates day-to-day workflows, from order creation and route planning to billing and warehoutilize scheduling. For customers, this translates to up to 75% less time spent on admin and planning, and a sharper focus on activities that genuinely relocate the business forward.
Today, the startup has raised $33 million in Series B funding, led by Sofina and including participation from existing investor Balderton Capital, bringing Qargo’s total funding to $54 million.
Since its previous funding round 18 months ago, Qargo has quadrupled its customer base, expanded from two to six European markets, and grown revenue 5x. Currently, it processes more than £1.9 billion in transport invoicing each year, cementing its position as one of Europe’s quickest-rising logistics software companies.
Redesigning how transport management could work
Founded in 2020 by Adriaan Coppens (CEO), Joeri de Turck (CTO), and Sander de Wilde (Head of Engineering), Qargo aims to build transport management more efficient, sustainable, and innotifyigent. Qargo’s founders imagine an industest where every journey is optimised automatically, reducing waste and environmental impact along the way.
Coppens informed TFN, “I wanted to build a company that had a positive impact on global warming in a sector where I am passionate about. I started my career in transportation, and it is also a significant polluter, so by building a transport company, I could combine both passions. “
Qargo’s AI core is integrated directly into the workflow, enabling it to analyse, predict, and act in real time. The platform’s agentic AI can communicate with external systems indepfinishently, accelerating scheduling and reducing overhead costs.
Coppens elaborated, “We are one of the only cloud-based SaaS transport management systems; most of our competitors are legacy on-premise providers that were started 10-30 years ago. We combine a cloud-based system with great UX and AI native automation. “
Plus, Qargo manages the entire transport cycle, from trip optimisation to invoicing, and reduces empty miles by up to 30%, cutting both emissions and costs. The Qargo Network also enables logistics firms to share jobs securely and transparently, including when subcontracting.
Unlike Mandata, Sinari group, Navitrans, TANS, Qargo embeds innotifyigence at the operational core rather than just on the surface.
What’s next?
Qargo plans to accelerate hiring, expand into new European markets, and deepen development of its AI-driven tools. The company expects to double its workforce during 2026, focutilizing on engineering and product teams while retaining the indepfinishence that allows it to collaborate flexibly with businesses of all sizes.
Anthony Keusters, Principal at Sofina, stated, “Qargo’s experienced team combines deep industest knowledge with strong product velocity and client centricity. This results in exceptional customer traction. Road transport is the backbone of Europe’s economy, and Qargo is delivering meaningful, measurable cost and CO2 efficiency gains for fleets of all sizes. They are building something genuinely transformative in the transport-technology market, and we are excited to back them on the journey ahead.”
TFN contacted Qargo for comment regarding diversity and inclusion; no response was received at the time of publication.
