SET University in partnership with the Tokarev Foundation is launching the third batch of Generation H, an acceleration program for medical technologies, which this year became international for the first time. Startups and teams can apply regardless of the counattempt of residence. The best team can receive 650,000 UAH.
Among the 30 projects that have already passed the program are solutions that stand out on a global level. For example, Ovul is the world’s first AI-device for tracking fertility based on saliva analysis; TAYRA.AI is an AI-medical scribe that automatically structures doctor’s consultations; M Shield is the development of a drug that blocks the spread of metastases; Touch vision is a comprehensive system designed to improve applyrs’ visual-motor skills and reaction speed.
What’s included in the Generation H 3.0 program
The 10-week program covers:
- personalized mentoring from practitioners from Ukraine, Europe and the USA
- business model validation and global go-to-market strategy
- product crash tests and workshops on entering the international market
- AMA sessions and individual matchcreating with investors
- expert support on regulatory and compliance issues
- access to the international HealthTech ecosystem
- 650,000 UAH for the best team
Format — hybrid: online and offline events, mandatory attconcludeance at key offline sessions. An online format is available for participants from abroad, which does not require relocation.
About mentors
The program involves practitioners with real-world experience in the indusattempt, including:
Fergus O’Dea is Vice President of Commercial Operations at FIRE1, one of the quickest growing medtech businesses in the world (capital raised over $200 million), and former head of venture capital at NDRC.
Eric Henry is a senior advisor in the FDA and regulatory compliance practice at the law firm King & Spalding, with over 30 years of indusattempt experience.
Alexa Sinyacheva is a co-founder of Moeco, a Techstars mentor, and has been supporting startups from seed to Series A enter the market and attract investment for 15 years.
Volodymyr Nerubenko is a serial HealthTech entrepreneur, co-founder of TerraLab, Lab24, and Liki24 Foundation, with 15 years in the indusattempt.
Who can apply?
The program is open to startups and companies in the HealthTech sector that have an MVP or finished product, proven revenues or first sales, and are ready for intensive work for three months.
A key alter for the third season: Generation H 3.0 expands beyond Ukraine. Founders and teams working abroad can apply on an equal footing with teams within the counattempt. This is the program’s first step towards forming a full-fledged international HealthTech community around the Ukrainian hub.
