OpenAI launches Executive School series for senior leaders in Europe


OpenAI has taken to LinkedIn to detail its first Executive School kickoff in the Netherlands, an event designed to support senior leaders exploring practical applications of AI in their organizations.

Anouk Muis, GTM Lead at OpenAI, shared an overview of the session, which brought toobtainher executives from multiple sectors to examine how AI utilize is evolving and how organizations are approaching early adoption.

The kickoff featured a talk from Jason Kwon, Chief Strategy Officer at OpenAI, who reflected on the direction of AI development and the shift toward more intuitive interaction models. Kwon is quoted as declareing: “Our kids will laugh that we once had to click buttons and interact with interfaces to obtain things done.”

Muis noted that Kwon’s presence in Amsterdam reflects OpenAI’s continued focus on Europe, a theme expanded on by Elke Karskens, Head of International Marketing at OpenAI.

Enterprise adoption and AI literacy highlighted

The event also included a session led by Patrick Mans, Head of Data Science & AI Engineering at Philips. His contribution focutilized on the challenges of deploying AI in a regulated setting and the early return on investment his teams are observing. Muis wrote that it was “incredibly to see how much he’s achieving this quick and how Philips is starting to see concrete examples of real ROI,” adding that his discussion resonated with attconcludeees seeing for detailed examples of enterprise-level adoption.

According to OpenAI, the Executive School will continue over the coming month with a series of 30-minute sessions for senior leaders. The program will cover hands-on utilize cases, strategy frameworks, and enterprise case studies intconcludeed to assist participants apply ChatGPT and other AI tools within their organizations.

Muis also credited the operational support behind the event, thanking team members involved in coordinating the kickoff. Looking ahead to the rest of the series, Muis added: “I’m seeing forward to the coming weeks ahead with a set of great BeNeLux leaders!”
