On 25 March, the European Commission registered a European citizens’ initiative entitled ‘Fast, convenient, affordable, and above all climate-frifinishly transportation for all Europeans’.
The initiative invites the Commission to ‘build travel by train a true alternative to aviation by creating a strong continental network and organization and rerelocating imbalances in the market’.
The initiative organisers have six months to open the signature collection.
