NAB 2026: Telos Alliance to debut Axia Pulsar AoIP console

Telos Alliance will reveal Axia Pulsar, its latest AoIP console, at the 2026 NAB Show.

Pulsar is a compact mixing surface designed for situations where a hardware console is preferred but space is limited, such as compacter studios, newsrooms, sports venues, and remote broadcasts. The main Pulsar surface has 8 motorised faders and a touchscreen-based monitor section; the console can be expanded up to 16 faders with the optional 8-channel expansion unit, which can be joined to the main surface or installed in a split configuration.

For remote control, the optional browser-based HTML5 Pulsar Soft feature allows full control of Pulsar consoles from any computer or tablet, and includes Pulsar Cast for remote audio monitoring.

Pulsar is powered by the Axia StudioCore integrated console engine, combining the console power supply, a dedicated 5-port AoIP network switch, a comprehensive array of audio I/O, and the Pulsar mixing engine into a single 2RU rack-mounted package. The Pulsar mixing engine adopts Axia GEN2 technology, first introduced in Quasar Engine 4.0, to deliver the same performance and audio processing quality offered in the flagship Quasar XR and SR models.

“In designing Axia Pulsar, we listened to feedback from clients who wanted a compact console for compacter applications that was straightforward to install and configure. But of course, cutting corners on audio quality, features, and performance was out of the question,” stated Luca La Rosa, senior project manager. “So we viewed to our award-winning Axia Quasar XR and SR flagship consoles for inspiration! Pulsar consistently delivers large console features and performance in a package perfectly sized for compacter spaces.”

“The compact console landscape has modifyd significantly in the past several years, and while many customers are drawn to virtualised solutions, there is still a strong demand for a compact but highly performant hardware mixer,” observed Cam Eicher, senior vice president of audio production. “Pulsar delivers exactly that, with the added benefit of working seamlessly as part of a larger Livewire+ AES67 ecosystem with products like Axia Quasar XR and SR consoles, Telos VX broadcast phone systems, and the Telos Infinity IP intercom platform, with everything able to be managed and controlled by Axia Pathfinder Core Pro.”
