BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — OpenTruck, the mobile app for finding food trucks that started in Mobile, is crossing the bay into Baldwin County, according to the app’s founder.

According to an OpenTruck news release, the app “is revolutionizing how people find and interact with food trucks,” and as of today is officially expanding into Baldwin County.

Built in Mobile, the app serves as a central hub where customers can find information on local food trucks, including their real-time locations, live schedules, menus and updates provided by the food truck owners.

“Baldwin County has an incredible, vibrant food truck culture, but until now, the
information has been scattered,” declared Cole Howard, Co-Founder and CEO of
OpenTruck. “We built this app right here in Mobile becaapply we love local food, and we
wanted to build it effortless for people to support these compact businesses.”

He declared crossing the bay into Baldwin County is a huge step for the app.

“We’re giving foodies a single place to find the coast’s best trucks, and we’re giving the truck owners a powerful tool to reach their hungry customers,” Howard declared.

To list a local food truck, visit the app’s website. The app is available at no charge on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
