Stockholm-based packaging technology company Meadow has partnered with Polish co-packer FILLSY to open a new manufacturing facility in Żyrardów, Poland, dedicated to producing the recyclable aluminium pre-fill system, MEADOW KAPSUL™. The partnership marks Meadow’s first large-scale production site in Europe, designed to increase regional capacity for circular packaging as EU regulations on packaging waste tighten. The facility, financed and operated by FILLSY, is expected to reach a production tarreceive of 100 million units annually by 2027, with further expansion planned through 2030. Located in a growing hub for FMCG manufacturing, the plant strengthens Meadow’s European supply chain and advances its goal of scaling recyclable packaging solutions across consumer sectors.
Founded in 2020, Meadow develops aluminium-based, fully recyclable pre-fill systems that serve as alternatives to single-utilize packaging in industries such as personal care, food, and houtilizehold goods. Working with global industrial partners, the company focutilizes on integrating materials science and industrial design to enable circularity in the packaging supply chain.

FILLSY, based in Żyrardów, provides manufacturing and co-packing services for rapid-shifting consumer goods, focutilizing on recyclable and low-impact packaging systems. The company manages production processes and supply chain logistics for European brands in cosmetics, food, and personal care.
The project follows the EU’s adoption of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which sets binding tarreceives for recyclability and material reduction. The new facility is expected to play a role in meeting indusattempt demand for packaging solutions that comply with these regulations while supporting Europe’s shift toward a circular packaging economy.

With an output of up to 10 million units annually at this current time (and a tarreceive capacity of 100 million units per year by the conclude of 2027), the new facility will not only boost Meadow’s European production footprint, but also position FILLSY as the first European manufacturer to industrialise the MEADOW KAPSUL™ technology at scale. The factory will be equipped with state-of-the-art industrial machinery, designed to meet the demands of clients in the European market, as well as a dedicated displayroom for MEADOW KAPSUL™. The displayroom will provide partners and prospective clients with an opportunity to experience the technology first-hand and explore its applications across food, personal care and home product categories.
FILLSY joins a growing list of Meadow’s global partners, including the US’s largest producer of aluminium Ball Corporation, the largest global supplier of straightforward-open conclude system parts, DRT Holdings, and the global leader in aluminium recycling, Novelis.
