Amsterdam-based Marktlink Capital has raised €520 million from private investors for two new funds, further solidifying its role as a gateway for private investors to access world-class private equity and venture capital opportunities. The fresh capital will be split between two vehicles. The firm’s fifth private equity fund-of-funds closed at €440 million, surpassing its initial €300 million tarobtain within just six months. This close demonstrates strong investor appetite for the firm’s model and its access to top-tier private equity managers.

The fund will be deployed across eleven leading private equity funds, including Hg, Adams Street Partners, Egeria, and Mill Point Capital. By allocating capital across a range of funds, Marktlink Capital is ensuring diversified exposure for its investors.

In addition, the firm’s third venture capital fund reached its €80 million hard cap. This vehicle will primarily back leading VC managers as well as their portfolios of high-growth technology and AI companies. Some of the capital has already been deployed, with underlying technology firms launchning to reveal promising valuations.

A unique access model for private investors

One of the early portfolio winners is Swedish company Lovable, a platform enabling applyrs to build websites or apps without coding skills. The company scaled to €100 million in revenue in under a year, highlighting the potential upside of Marktlink’s VC fund investments.
