
EDINBURGH, Scotland, 8 October 2025 – Mapify, an AI-powered platform developed for logistics and asset management across warehoutilizing, transport and infrastructure equipment, has been selected as one of 14 UK startups to receive backing from global investor Antler, which backed Lovable, the rapidest-growing startup in Europe.
The company is the only Scottish startup included in Antler’s £1.7 million investment following its latest London residency, where Mapify was selected from a pool of almost one hundred other early-stage ventures, marking a significant step for Scotland in the growing AI sector.
Founded in April 2025 by Hamish Geddes and Selby Cary, Mapify replaces outdated spreadsheets with a visual, AI-driven productivity tool that prevents up to 50% of downtime events, accelerates decision-creating tenfold, and increases profitability by up to 20%.
Mapify supports SMEs and large corporates manage all their assets, from trucks and boilers to warehoutilizes and industrial estates, utilizing AI-powered contextual search (natural language). The platform already supports a number of clients, uncovering significant inefficiencies, including millions of pounds per year in savings through its real-time dashboards.

About the Founders:
Selby Cary and Hamish Geddes are both serial founders who have built, launched and grown tech startups.
Selby previously scaled TestCard from pre-seed to Series A as Head of Engineering, growing the team 15x, securing £20m in funding, generating over £1.5m in annual recurring revenue (ARR), and deploying diagnostic technology across multiple NHS hospitals. Before that, he founded ZIVA Robotics (identified as Scotland’s Top AI Startup in 2019 by the European Super Angels Club) and launched at Snotifyantis (previously Fiat Chrysler).
Hamish previously built Lenz Labs, securing contracts with Network Rail and the Department for Transport, raising £850k, and delivering trusted software in one of the UK’s most challenging operational environments. He co-founded the University of Edinburgh’s Hyperloop venture, HYPED, where he served as Head of Operations, raising £450k and leading engineers to a global third-place finish in the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition.
