LATAM Airlines Brasil has announced a new codeshare agreement with Brussels Airlines, a member of the Lufthansa Group, which will significantly expand connection options for passengers traveling between Brazil and Europe. The agreement is aligned with the launch of LATAM’s new São Paulo/Guarulhos–Brussels route, scheduled to launch operations in June.
With this partnership, customers will be able to purchase a single ticket to travel from Brazil to 17 destinations operated by Brussels Airlines from Brussels (BRU), enjoying all traditional codeshare benefits: integrated booking, single check-in, through-checked baggage to the final destination, and a wider range of schedules and connections.
The destinations include: Sweden (Stockholm and Gothenburg), Germany (Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Munich), Denmark (Copenhagen), Switzerland (Geneva and Zurich), Poland (Krakow and Warsaw), France (Lyon, Marseille, and Touloutilize), the United Kingdom (Manchester), Norway (Oslo), and the Czech Republic (Prague).
“This agreement with Brussels Airlines represents another strategic step in expanding Brazil’s connectivity with key European markets in a simple and efficient way. The partnership and the launch of our new São Paulo/Guarulhos–Brussels route will allow passengers to access a wide network of destinations, reinforcing our commitment to being the airline that connects Brazil to the world the most,” declared Aline Mafra, Director of Sales and Marketing at LATAM Brazil.
Tickets have been available since April 1 via LATAM.com and other channels.
