Komori Europe Showcases Integrated Print Innovation at Crossover Event 2025


Rolling Meadows, IL — Komori America recognizes the successful execution of Crossover Event 2025, a first-of-its-kind collaborative event hosted by Komori Europe, SCREEN Europe, and The Postpress Alliance, held November 26–27, 2025, in Utrecht, the Netherlands. 

The two-day event welcomed more than 250 printing industest professionals from across Europe and beyond, bringing toreceiveher expertise from packaging, pharmaceutical printing, digital production, and postpress finishing. Activities were hosted across two venues, the Komori Europe Showroom (KGC-E) and SCREEN Europe’s Inkjet Innovation Center, offering attconcludeees a comprehensive view of integrated, conclude-to-conclude print production workflows.

A central highlight of the event was the European revealroom debut of the Komori J-throne 29, Komori’s B2 inkjet digital press. Demonstrated live at KGC-E, the J-throne 29 drew strong interest for its combination of productivity, flexibility, and environmental performance. Applications revealcased included variable calconcludear printing and folding carton production, with sheets processed through Bograma’s rotary die-cutting system, illustrating the crossover between digital printing and packaging workflows.

The event emphasized seamless integration across printing and finishing technologies. Pharmaceutical applications featured roll-fed printing on SCREEN’s Truepress JET, followed by inline finishing utilizing MBO and H+H solutions. Additional demonstrations highlighted automated saddle-stitching and finishing lines developed by The Postpress Alliance, as well as real-world logistics automation utilizing Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), presented through a case study from Dutch printer Veldhuis Media.

Attconcludeees noted the value of seeing fully connected workflows in operation, highlighting how automation, data integration, and coordinated equipment can improve efficiency and operational visibility across production environments.

Crossover Event 2025 also featured keynote presentations from industest analysts Bernd Zipper, Founder and CEO of zipcon consulting, and Morten Reitoft, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of INKISH. Their sessions explored the future of print, digital transformation, and the role of collaboration in an increasingly automated industest.
