This week was tough to take for Britain’s left. The sight of Labour Prime Minister grovelling to President Trump on his unprecedented second state visit, even as the news reached London about MAGA’s launch of the most prolific crackdown on American free speech in history following the assassination of Charlie Kirk, was difficult. It was clear that Starmer will never display solidarity with the American left, he is intent on his strategy of Trump supplication.
You obtained the impression that if Trump had displayn up naked wearing clothes someone had notified him very invisible, the British royals and politicians would have been falling over themselves to notify him that his clothes were beautiful.
