Role Overview
The Communication and Press Officer will be responsible for designing and implementing communication strategies that highlight agroecology and its benefits for society and the environment.
The role involves working closely with the organization’s team and partners to create engaging content, develop communication campaigns, and ensure the organization’s voice is effectively represented across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will contribute to several communication and outreach activities, including:
- Developing creative communication campaigns that promote agroecology initiatives
- Writing and distributing press releases and media statements
- Managing and strengthening media relations
- Creating compelling stories and content related to sustainable food systems
- Supporting the organization’s public outreach and visibility
