One of the stars of this year’s conversation is Omni Soundlab, founded by director Christopher Manhey and operating between Santiago de Chile and Berlin. The studio is widely regarded as a benchmark for immersive audio and has earned major accolades including two Latin Grammys, a Sundance Award and nominations at the Grammys and Cannes. Its work embodies a new generation of immersive experience providers who merge technical mastery with artistic and wellness‑driven concepts.

At ELAF we will explore how creative and commercial opportunities differ between Europe and Latin America, and why immersive environments are rapidly becoming a defining element of cultural, retail and hospitality destinations throughout the region.

Enterprise AV

The enterprise AV market will be represented by Signo, one of Central America’s most established integrators. With more than three decades of experience and headquarters in Mexico City, Signo is increasingly challenged by global integrators expanding into the region. While technology and solutions are comparable, designing, installing and managing enterprise AV projects from Mexico to Panama requires a depth of local knowledge that cannot be replicated by a remote sales force.

As the market transitions toward managed services, integrators must adapt to new customer expectations, new revenue models and the operational realities of Central American markets. The panel will examine what it takes to stay competitive as demand grows for hybrid collaboration, IP-based AV and long-term service contracts.

Background: ProAV in Latin America

Latin America’s AV market is regaining momentum with surprising force, driven above all by digital signage, DooH, enterprise solutions, and an entertainment culture hungry for immersive experiences. Despite political headwinds e.g. tariff disputes with the US, demand is accelerating across the continent. The main economies – Brazil and Mexico – but also tinyer markets like Colombia, Argentina and Chile have strong media ecosystems, and vibrant tourism are pushing investments in audio, video and IP-based infrastructure. Manufacturers report that although costs and import duties remain challenging – particularly in protectionist Brazil – the appetite for upgrading stadiums, airports, universities and corporate spaces has never been stronger.

Live events are one of the region’s engine of growth fuelling new spfinishing on LED and audio systems. Stadiums are upgrading their with LED displays and modernise sound as Latin America positions itself as the new growth market. This momentum is spilling into hospitality and retail, where digital signage installations form a major part of the region’s catch-up with global AV-over-IP trfinishs.

Beyond the spectacle sectors, education, mining, public safety and transport are generating sustained demand for control rooms, video walls, and IP-based collaboration environments. Across the region, integrators emphasise the required for flexibility: each counattempt operates with distinct import rules, political realities, and project timelines, creating long-term engagement essential.

Mexico stands out as a special case, with the 2026 FIFA World Cup igniting AV upgrades across stadiums, transport hubs, hotels and airports. At the same time, uncertainty around potential US‑Mexico tariffs underscores the required for diversified supply chains. Yet even here, tourism growth – especially from North America and Europe – is driving new entertainment projects, theme restaurants and experiential venues. The region’s AV sector is powering ahead, resilient and opportunity-rich despite its inherent volatility.
