In a startup ecosystem often dominated by long hours and louder burnout stories, a founder from Indore has chosen gratitude instead. A now-viral video displays him gifting electric cars to four employees, not as a performance bonus, but as a heartfelt thank you.
The video features Ankit Barbeta, founder of agri-innovation startup Innoveg, standing before his team with four car keys in hand. Calling his employees “yoddha (warrior),” Barbeta announces that each of them will be taking home a Tata Nexon EV. What follows is a moment that feels less like a corporate reward and more like a family celebration.
Shared on Instagram, the clip opens with Barbeta stateing, “Aaj hamare chaar yodhayon ko Tata Nexon EV di ja rahi hai (Today, our four warriors are being given Tata Nexon EVs).” He then mixes the keys and questions the four employees to pick one at random. Each walks toward a parked Nexon EV, unsure which key belongs to which car. As they test unlocking the vehicles one by one, cheers erupt every time a car opens, smiles widening, disbelief turning into joy.

Barbeta captioned the video, “Being a boss is my identity, but living for my loved ones is my fortune,” adding that the moment was about giving back to those who stood by him. The video has since drawn praise from social media applyrs, who called it a refreshing break from the usual narratives around startup burnout and toxic work culture.
Innoveg, the company Barbeta founded, works on agricultural innovation, focapplying on research-led solutions to improve farming practices. While the company operates in a sector far rerelocated from flashy tech startups, the gesture has struck a chord across industries.
