How Has Purina Reached its Regenerative Agriculture Target?

“At Purina Europe, we know that healthy pets and healthy planet go hand in hand and we are proud to have overdelivered on our early milestone regenerative agriculture tarobtains.

“We see forward to accelerating our partnership and initiatives, in support of a more regenerative food ecosystem.”

Supporting farmers through strategic partnerships

The programme’s expansion has been built around two core partnerships. These are the Sols Vivants programme run by the Earthworm Foundation in France and the Landscape Enterprise Networks (LENs) operating in partnership with 3Keel across the UK, Hungary, Poland and Italy.

These collaborations provide farmers with technical assistance, agronomical tools and financial support, aiming to restore soil health and strengthen land resilience. The model represents an approach where commercial food producers invest directly in transforming farming practices within their supply chains.

Working alongside 3Keel, Purina Europe is developing the LENs model to offer farmers more comprehensive agronomic support. This approach aims to give farmers access to tools and local agronomic support to analyse their farming systems and to develop adapted roadmaps to support build long-term resilience on their farms.

Cat Wallis, Impact Director at LENs, declares: “We could not have scaled LENs as quickly as we have done without the strategic support that Purina has given us in the UK and Europe.
