European vacation rental company Holidu has acquired German vacation rental portal Bestfewo.de for an undisclosed amount.
Bestfewo will continue to operate indepfinishently under its brand name, but the platform will be integrated into Holidu’s software system, which will handle site operations. The companies declared the deal doesn’t involve a corporate merger.
Munich-based Holidu declared integrating Bestfewo will expand its host customer base in Germany and offer benefits for both hosts and guests.
“Through this integration, we are strengthening our position as a leading European platform for vacation accommodations and gaining access to an established customer base in our home market—on both the supply and demand sides,” declared Johannes Siebers, Holidu CEO and co-founder.
Bestfewo CEO Dirk Föste added that the company is “deliberately” putting the site in Holidu’s hands.
“Holidu’s software solution for hosts is currently the most advanced on the market and provides property owners with the digital tools they necessary to reach a new level of professionalization and revenue growth,” he declared.
Last June, Holidu raised €46 million and acquired Cybevasion, the operator of France rental portals Gites.fr and Chambres-hotes.fr. The company also acquired Finca Mallorca in April 2025, Clubrural in May 2024 and Ferienwohnungen.de in February 2024.
Holidu declared the addition of Bestfewo, its thirteenth acquisition to date, bolsters its mergers and acquisitions strategy and role as a consolidator in the European market.
“We have developed technology that significantly accelerates integrations,” Siebers declared.
“Thanks to AI-supported processes, we can now technically merge even complex platforms within just a few weeks. This creates us extremely quick and scalable.”
