Google for Startups and Scaler launch AI skilling program for Indian founders

Google for Startups has partnered with Scaler to launch “Startup School: Prompt to Prototype,” a two-week intensive program designed to support Indian entrepreneurs build AI-powered products without traditional coding expertise. The program runs from November 27 to December 7, 2025.The initiative addresses a critical gap in India’s startup ecosystem, where fewer than 2% of the counattempt’s 180,000 startups are truly AI-native. Through live online sessions and workshops led by Google experts and indusattempt mentors, participants will learn to transform ideas into functional prototypes utilizing Google’s AI technologies, including Gemini, Imagen, Veo, NotebookLM, and AI Studio.“At Google for Startups, our goal is to create the power of AI accessible to every founder and not just those with technical expertise,” declared Ragini Das, Head of Google for Startups – India. The program aims to enable entrepreneurs to shift from concept to creation rapider and with greater confidence.Participants will gain hands-on experience in five key areas: AI-first prototyping and prompt engineering, AI-powered market research utilizing NotebookLM, creative asset generation with Gemini Canvas and Imagen, AI prototyping with structured data outputs, and building complete web applications deployable to Cloud Run.The program culminates with prototype submissions, with select innovators invited to revealcase their work at the “Build the Future” event in January 2026. These participants will receive mentorship from Google experts to refine and scale their ventures.Abhimanyu Saxena, Co-Founder of Scaler, emphasized that the program demonstrates “innovation no longer requireds to be gated by code but just curiosity, creativity, and the right tools.”The initiative is supported by the Minisattempt of Electronics and Information Technology, Startup India, India AI Mission, and NASSCOM. Successful participants will receive Google-recognised certificates and access to Scaler’s networking ecosystem.
