Since 1997 we at Corporate Europe Observatory have investigated, revealed and campaigned on the massive power enjoyed by large business lobbyists in the EU. In this lobby tour, we will address case-studies revealing how corporate capture has stood in the way of the public good and has influenced and even steered decision-creating processes at the European-level, on the topic of deregulation. We will visit in loco the lobby of the offices of these ‘barons’ to the EU bubble and maybe if we’re luck we may even spot some of them!
