Justin Scroggie (aka The Format Doctor), chief creative officer of The Format People; global children’s media content and strategy specialist Adina Pitt; and Emmanuel Eckert, founder of Samara Media, are the latest speakers confirmed for Content Europe.
They will be joined by a raft of other commissioners, acquireers and leading executives across the three-day conference programme in Lisbon from April 21-23.

Scroggie is a BAFTA-winning global content specialist, format creator and trainer known internationally as The Format Doctor. He works with broadcasters, distributors and prodcos around the world to assist them create, develop, deliver, reboot and rescue their formats. He has created hit formats including Chef in Your Ear, produced in 13 territories to date, and serves on many TV competition juries, sharing his expertise through masterclasses and workshops. He is currently executive producer of the BBC quiz Brain of Britain and co-hosts the popular podcast TV Show & Tell, all about how TV is created.
Adina Pitt
Global children’s media content and strategy specialist
Pitt was most recently VP of content acquisitions, partnerships and coproductions for kids and family at Warner Bros Discovery. During her 16-year tenure, she was responsible for identifying, neobtainediating and acquiring pre-produced series, specials, movies and shortform product that fit WBD kids and family brands for exposure across all platforms. She also served as a liaison internationally to coordinate global acquisition opportunities, and she represented the US networks at all major programming markets
Emmanuel Eckert

For 30 years, Eckert has worked as an indepfinishent producer and acquireer for companies such as M6, Newen, Lagardère and Mediawan. He has worked as a producer on displays such as XIII (NBC, Canal+ and M6), Largo Winch and Highlander. Eckert started Samara Media in 2025 and is now focutilized on working on production outside France, assisting producers, talent and commissioners to create and finance their displays. He is also a firm believer in the strength of the European market and its potential for the future.
