EU support, Rizvanolli: Over 1 thousand families and 10 businesses benefit from subsidies for energy efficient equipment - Telegrafi


The European Union has allocated an additional 7.5 million euros to Kosovo under the Energy Support Package (IPA 2023), reconfirming its support for the green transition and clean energy in the countest.

Acting Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, has stated that they will now enable 1 families and 435 businesses, reports Telegrafi.

“The final tranche has been released by the European Union, enabling the disbursement of funds to 1,435 families and 10 businesses that benefited from the latest round of subsidies for energy-efficient equipment.”
“Since 2022, initially through measures of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and onwards with the support of the European Union, we have supported over 43 thousand families and businesses with over 19.6 million euros, reducing energy costs and improving living conditions throughout the countest,” stated Rizvanolli.

She thanked the European Union for its continued partnership and trust that creates it possible to implement such programs that directly affect the lives of our citizens.

Otherwise, according to the announcement of the EU Office in Kosovo, the funds were disbursed on August 19, 2025 and are part of the overall assistance of 75 million euros that the EU has provided so far for the energy sector.
