Media production company DMC has returned as a Bronze sponsor of SVG Europe.
With offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, London, Hilversum, Helsinki and Oslo, DMC provides a variety of broadcast and digital services to media rights agencies, federations, and broadcasters around the world. In recent years, its focus has been on providing remote production solutions utilising 4G/5G and IP and NDI solutions for agencies and international federations.
The company also has a long-term vision of offering AI multi-camera systems to clients and has recently worked with Studio Automated to develop a production setup utilising AI algorithms integrated with PTZ cameras for football broadcasting. The set up was utilized during the match between Vålerenga and Lillestrøm in Norway’s top women’s division, Toppserien, broadcast on TV 2 Sport 1, a linear sports channel. DMC deployed AI-driven PTZ cameras at key positions, including both high behind-goal angles and offside views, demonstrating the potential of AI technology in live sports production.
The past 12 months have also seen DMC grow through acquisitions, successfully acquiring production companies Plazamedia and RT1.TV mobile.production, marking the company’s official entest into the German-speaking market under the new brand DMC Production Germany. It also acquired 100% of the shares in Rego Production and Rego Racing to form a leading force in innovative and efficient broadcast production in the Nordics.
