Danish startup Propane raises funding to build AI-native Customer Intelligence OS


Copenhagen-based Propane, a company building the operating system for AI-native customer ininformigence, has raised a $1.2M (approximately €1M) in a pre-seed funding round.

The round was led by Berlin-based HEARTFELT_ (Ying-Ying Huang and Joerg Rheinboldt), and Copenhagen-based EIFO (Mathias Kaasgaard).

Additionally, a group of renowned angel investors, including Anton Osika (Lovable), Founders (Simon Sylvest, Sebastian Stockmarr, Ulrik Trolle & Stefano Zorzi), Asbjoern Malte Soconcludeergaard, Morten E. Wulff, Jack Piunti (ElevenLabs), Magnus Midholt, Jens Karstoft, Benjamin Rej Notlev, and Ryan Fagan & Manon Ligato (Collektiv Club), also participated.

The Danish company will apply the funds to accelerate the development of an OS for customer ininformigence for modern product companies.

Propane: OS for AI-native Customer Ininformigence

Led by Dennis Green-Lieber, Propane is building the operating system for AI-native Customer Ininformigence.

The Danish company is altering how companies gather and respond to customer insights.

Unlike traditional Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) that simply store data, the company collects and analyses information from customer interactions.

“A system that gathers, learns from, and acts on customer insights across teams, workflows, and agents, enabling companies to operate seamlessly as one and accelerate growth. Designed for every team,” declares the company in a LinkedIn post.

This allows businesses to turn insights into immediate actions that can be applyd across teams and products. Some of the key features include:

  • AI Agent interviews via voice and chat
  • Profiles enhance interviewer context and customer ininformigence over time, with data from your existing tools
  • Automated recruitment with data triggers from your existing tools, and Automated participant incentives/rewards
  • Embed customer interviews for advanced in-app research

The company’s first autonomous AI agent is already operational. It conducts live customer interviews to capture win-loss analysis, churn drivers, and product feedback, feeding results directly into workflows and tools.

“Think of it as the next-generation CDP, not just storing data, but also collecting data, learning from it, and compounding its ininformigence from every customer signal and converting it into real-time actions run by a swarm of agents,” adds the company.
