CyberRidge, a startup from Israel that is developing photonic-encryption technology, has raised US$16 million in a series A funding round that was backed by Arkin, Redseed VC and Elron Ventures, as well as a grant from the European Innovation Council.

Founded in 2022 by Professor Dan Sadot with his team, the company claims that its hardware-based data security system converts any data into optical noise encryption, building it impossible to intercept or decrypt, even for quantum computers.

Organizations in Europe, Singapore and Australia are testing the company’s technology, along with a unit of the Israeli military.
