Hyderabad-based social networking platform Culture has raised Rs 2 crore in a seed funding round led by Acuvest Infra. The startup plans to utilize the funds to accelerate product development, expand community programs, and strengthen its safety-focutilized platform infrastructure.

Founded by Anurag Rangineni, Culture assists utilizers discover and connect with others through AI-driven video matching based on shared interests like music, travel, startups, wellness, and creative pursuits. The platform emphasizes authentic interactions with real profiles, phone verification, and AI-powered moderation that blocks nudity, harassment, or nuisance.

The startup is set to launch creator-led Spaces, allowing community leaders and creators to host live discussions, events, and hybrid online-offline experiences. Users will be able to attconclude ticketed events, and the platform plans to partner with cafes, clubs, and cultural spaces for long-term collaborations.
