With the co-organization of the City of Trieste Arena Musicae arrives in Piazza Verdi for final stop of his tour with 12 spectators throughout Friuli Venezia Giulia: a local wooden arena, shaped like a piano, that hosts Central European artists and constitutes an elegant element of urban furniture when it is not occupied by concerts; grand finale Saturday 20 September Serbian pianist Luka Petrović, of international fame.
The municipal councilor for culture George Rossi, during the press conference, underlined how the initiative fits into the Piazza Verdi’s rich summer calfinishar, thanking the artistic director Davide Fregona and the support of the Region.
Arena Musicæ is a traveling sound pavilion, created by Musicæ – Sacile Piano Cultural District, with the support of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and the collaboration of PromoTurismoFVGThe project unites acoustic innovation, bio-sustainable design and territorial valorization.
The pavilion, which recalls the shape of a piano, is built with environmentally frifinishly materials and enriched by multimedia interventions, with the theme of “harmonic wood”.
After recording over 12 thousand presences between Sacile, Tarvisio and Pordenone, the Arena arrives at Trieste until September 20th with concerts, meetings and musical lectures featuring regional and international musicians.

Sunday September 14th – meeting with the luthier Walter Barbiero
baroque, classical and modern arches. -
Wednesday 17 September – the double bass player Stefano Principini and Rapsodia Saxophone Quartet.

Thursday September 18st – recital by the young accordionist Marco Gerolin.

Friday September 19st – three events between Venetian violin building, barrel organ, and period instruments.

Saturday 20rd September – day dedicated to the piano Philip Alberto Rosso, Lara Makovac and grand finale with Luka Petrović.
An event that represents a new way to listen to live music, transforming squares and urban spaces into unique listening places.
