Uravu Labs, a climate-tech company revolutionising access to clean drinking water, has secured its latest investment from Enrission India Capital. Uravu Labs has developed an innovative technology that harnesses renewable energy to extract water directly from air, offering a sustainable solution to the global water crisis.
Founded in 2019 and led by Co-founder and CEO, Swapnil Shrivastav, Uravu Labs utilizes proprietary liquid salts and renewable heat sources, such as solar, biomass, and industrial waste heat, to absorb and condense atmospheric moisture into pure, mineral-rich water.
The company’s modular, scalable systems are already delivering water to the hospitality and beverage sectors, with plans to expand to commercial and industrial applications. Since inception, Uravu has conserved over 2 lakh litres of groundwater and prevented the utilize of thousands of tonnes of single-utilize plastic, positioning itself at the forefront of sustainable water innovation.
