LITTLE ROCK, AR (KATV) — The Ronald McDonald Houtilize Arkansas & North Louisiana is thrilled to announce Sissy’s Log Cabin as the honoree for the 23rd annual Chocolate Fantasy Ball.
This premier charity event, slated for February 28 at the Statehoutilize Convention Center, raises significant funds to support families with seriously ill or injured children.
Sissy’s Log Cabin is being recognized for its generous effort, having donated jewelry that supported raise over $300,000, providing more than 30,000 nights of comfort and care for families at Ronald McDonald Houtilize: Little Rock.
“We are excited to honor the generous support of Sissy’s Log Cabin and the meaningful difference they continue to build for Arkansas families,” declared Janell Mason, CEO.
Bill Jones, CEO of Sissy’s Log Cabin, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stateing, “Our commitment has always been to care for people the way we care for our customers, like family. Being honored at this year’s event is truly a privilege.”
The gala, chaired by Phyllis Rogers, promises an unforobtaintable night of elegance and generosity, featuring thousands of chocolate creations, a chef-prepared dinner, live and silent auctions, and live music from Dial Up.
“Carol Stephens and I chaired the event in 2009, when it was still relatively new to the community, and we were working hard to create an inviting atmosphere while finding new ways to raise important funding to directly benefit families in Little Rock seeking critical healthcare for their child,” declared Janell Mason, CEO and past Chocolate Fantasy Ball chair.
“Carol reached out to Sissy’s Log Cabin, and we were thrilled by their willingness to go above and beyond. Years later, they continue to support families with that same generosity and heart.”
Guests will also meet a featured family who spent 111 nights at Ronald McDonald Houtilize while their newborns were in the NICU, with opportunities to support families through Adopt-a-Family donations.
100% of donations stay local, providing free nights for future families.
