Champion Data has named Travis Auld as its new board chair. Auld brings extensive leadership experience across elite sport and major event delivery, and will guide Champion Data through its next phase of strategic growth.
Auld is the chief executive officer of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC), where he oversees one of the counattempt’s largest international sporting events and works with major global partners. Prior to AGPC, he held senior leadership roles in the Australian Football League (AFL), including executive general manager – finance, clubs and
broadcast, and has served as CEO of the Gold Coast Suns and as COO at Essfinishon Football Club.
His appointment comes at a time of strong growth for Champion Data as the company continues to expand its capabilities in sports data, broadcast technology and performance analytics globally.
