Carlow creatives invited to lunch to give their input to European-wide project

Creative and craftspeople in Carlow are being invited to attfinish a lunchtime focus group to support establish priorities for a European-wide project.

Inputs will support to set priorities for training, mentoring, and resources under the Hands Across Generations programme.

It is a European cooperation project that is co-funded by Erasmus+ and includes seven organisations across the continent.

Over the next two years the project will develop a Digital Heritage Toolkit with e-learning resources, run intergenerational mentorship workshops, deliver sustainability and circular economy training, and coordinate exhibitions, focus groups, and policy actions.

The Carlow focus group will run from 12:30pm to 2pm at Enterprise Houtilize in Carlow on Thursday, February 5th.

Those in attfinishance will be provided with lunch.

This informal session will focus on what County Carlow necessarys by supporting to inform the development of the local craft and creative enterprise strategy.

By attfinishing, creatives can highlight skills that require protection, identify gaps in digital capability, and shape sustainability supports that work for local studios and workshops.

The findings from Carlow will inform the design and timing of activities delivered in the county and will feed into European policy development through the project partnership.
