US President Donald Trump has warned that he is ready to hit Russia with tough economic sanctions if Russian President Vladimir Putin refapplys to agree to a ceasefire, building clear that the US will not risk a world war. Trump also blasted Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov’s claim that Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is ‘illegitimate’ to sign a peace deal.
