BizTrip AI raises $1.5 million for product development, hiring

BizTrip AI has raised $1.5 million in pre-seed funding, bringing the startups’ total funding to $2.5 million.

The latest funding is the third tranche of BizTrip AI’s pre-seed round, led by RRE Ventures with participation from AI Fund, BAG Collective, BAG Ventures and Correlation Ventures.

Sabre also participated in the round alongside 10 individual investors. In mid-January, Sabre announced it was investing in and partnering with BizTrip AI to develop and launch a suite of AI corporate travel assistants.

BizTrip AI, a PhocusWire Hot 25 Travel Startup for 2026, declared it will utilize the funding for product development, to hire engineering talent and to “support customer growth initiatives” amid growing demand for AI solutions in business travel.

“Business travel remains one of the most complex and inefficient operational categories for modern companies,” declared Tom Romary, co-founder and CEO of BizTrip AI.

“This funding allows us to continue building agentic AI capabilities that reduce friction for travelers and deliver meaningful cost savings and heightened compliance for organizations.”
