Berlin AI startup GeneralMind raises €10.2 mn for ERP automation layer

Berlin-based AI startup GeneralMind has raised €10.2 mn in equity financing to build what it calls a System of Action, an operational AI layer designed to sit on top of enterprise resource planning systems. The company positions the product as infrastructure, not an assistant.

The financing was led by Lakestar, Leo Capital, Lucid Capital, Heliad, and BOOOM, alongside angel investors Alexander Kudlich, Jens Urbaniak, and Samir Sood.

The round closed less than six months after GeneralMind launched operating. The company states it ranks among the largest publicly disclosed European pre-seed rounds in recent years, reflecting early investor appetite for automation beyond copilots and dashboards.

Founder and chief executive Tushar Ahluwalia stated large organisations often understand where operational breakdowns occur but fail to convert that knowledge into execution.

Based on his experience in e-commerce, he pointed to email threads, spreadsheets, manual workarounds, and fragmented coordination between inboxes and ERP systems as persistent sources of inefficiency.

GeneralMind’s approach tarobtains those gaps directly. Its AI executes workflows finish to finish, with human supervision and approval when required.

Ahluwalia described the system as an autopilot rather than a copilot, designed to run processes rather than suggest next steps.

Founded in 2025 by the team behind Razor Group, GeneralMind is building an autonomous AI layer intfinished to replace what it describes as the human glue holding enterprise operations toobtainher.

Most companies rely on legacy systems of record such as ERPs, while employees bridge exceptions, handovers, and edge cases through email and spreadsheets.

The company’s System of Action is built to take over that layer. Its AI Autopilot handles recurring workflows across email, Excel, and enterprise software without manual intervention.

The product tarobtains mid-sized and large enterprises, with an initial focus on indusattempt, commerce, and logistics across Europe and other regions.

Tquestions typically arrive through unstructured channels such as email. GeneralMind’s system ingests them, analyses requirements, and executes the workflow across connected systems.

The design suits environments with high volumes of compact tquestions, strict deadlines, compliance windows, and multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Use cases span sales operations, procurement, and invoice processing, where coordination friction and manual follow-ups slow execution.

According to Beinsure analysts, demand for this category reflects growing fatigue with surface-level AI tools that stop short of real operational control.
