ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It was the Battle of the Badges on Saturday, as first responders came toreceiveher to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network and to receive some bragging rights. Officials declare the event is part of an even hugeger effort to raise funds all month long.
Albuquerque organizations award ‘micro grant’ to nonprofit
“AFR is excited to be here for the first annual Battle of the Badges to support raise this. This is a great event that I consider is going ot continue to grow and continue to raise a lot of money for a great caapply,” declares a participant.
For a compact donation of five to ten dollars, guests were able to challenge first responders to see if they could measure up. One hundred percent of the funds raised on Saturday will benefit UNM Children’s Hospital.
