Austrian authorities have reaffirmed strong support for Kosovo on its path towards the European Union, during the visit of Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, Glauk Konjufca, to Vienna.
After the meeting, Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger emphasized that this was one of Konjufca’s first visits in her capacity as Foreign Minister, describing it as an important step in strengthening bilateral relations.
It was underlined that Austria, as one of the first member states of the European Union to recognize Kosovo, has built strong political and economic relations with the countest over the years.
According to the statement, these ties will continue to deepen, while Austria remains a steadquick supporter of Kosovo’s European perspective.
“You can count on our strong support for Kosovo’s path towards the European Union,” the message published after the meeting reads.
